Public bug reported:

When I connect the MP3 player, MTP does not recognize it.

Using lsusb, I can see that the player is correctly linked

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Download$ lsusb
Bus 003 Device 012: ID 04e8:5081 Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 04d9:0499 Holtek Semiconductor, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

The mp3 device is the first. But, using mtp-detect, nothing happens

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Download$ mtp-detect
No MTP devices.
No devices.

Same thing using sudo.

I've also added a line in the file /etc/udev/rules.d/65-libmtp.rules

SYSFS{idVendor}=="04e8", SYSFS{idProduct}=="5081", SYMLINK+="libmtp-%k",
MODE="666"

but, after restarting udev (and computer itself, too), nothing changes.

I'm using the 64 bit version of Ubuntu, and library version is
0.1.3-oubuntu2

PS: Player works correctly with Windows.

** Affects: libmtp (Ubuntu)
