This occurs daily for me in Utopic also. Although the application is slow to start; a transparent window appears and then the bug report. It asks if I want to leave it closed or relaunch it. Clicking on either does nothing. Then I go about using Chromium for several hours without any apparent problems. It doesn't really use a lot of CPU and it is not slow. So except for the startup, it seems to run ok for me. I'm running gnome flashback with compiz.
