slowtrain, thank you for posting the dmesg.txt that contained a call trace (next time, please don't tar/compress attachment). The call trace would be sufficient for this bug report to be scoped to. With this in mind, could you please test the latest mainline kernel via http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.17-rc1-utopic/ and advise if you still get a crash?
As well, did this problem not occur in a release prior to Trusty? ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Low => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1328708 Title: [HP Pavilion dv6t-6b00 CTO Quad Edition Entertainment Notebook PC] System freezes periodically when I try to suspend to RAM To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1328708/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
