I tried recreating this upgrade failure using your VarLogDistupgradeAptclonesystemstate.tar.gz file and could not. I'd try using another mirror and see if it succeeds.
One thing of note as a developer is that my new cache size was larger than the yours after the update. 2014-08-21 12:06:18,625 DEBUG running doUpdate() (showErrors=True) 2014-08-21 12:07:38,226 DEBUG openCache() 2014-08-21 12:07:38,227 DEBUG failed to SystemUnLock() (E:Not locked) 2014-08-21 12:07:41,058 DEBUG /openCache(), new cache size 70872 vs 2014-08-15 22:14:15,692 DEBUG running doUpdate() (showErrors=True) 2014-08-15 22:14:55,821 DEBUG openCache() 2014-08-15 22:14:55,822 DEBUG failed to SystemUnLock() (E:Nicht gesperrt) 2014-08-15 22:14:56,028 DEBUG /openCache(), new cache size 1720 ** Tags added: missing-minimal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1357541 Title: Upgrade 13.10 to 14.04 crashed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1357541/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
