Public bug reported:
There is a serious problem in the pakage gdm (ubunty trusty 14.04)
there is a syntaxic error in th gdm script located in /etc/init.d/gdm
afater install the screen is sort of frozen and the daemon wont start
/etc/init.d/gdm start ;;;;;;;;;; error at line 79 an unexpected token
(fi) in plus
I hope that you will coreect that as soon as possible
