I did the fix in #26 and it fixed my issues as well.
The only difference was that in nvidia-settings my samsung tv was coming up as
"DFP-1" so I had to change it to :
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "DFP-1"
Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP-1"

As of today this is still not assigned, so not really sure when they
will get to fixing it.
