Streamzap has it's own driver, at least on the surface resulting in lirc_streamzap.ko. I'm not sure if it shares any code with atiusb.
Currently the way to get this working on Ubuntu is to download the lirc- modules-source and follow the instructions on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Install_Lirc_Edgy. I'm wondering if this can be automated to the point where there is binary package lirc- modules that includes drivers for all of the remotes? There aren't that many of them. Am I missing something? I haven't done this before, but I'm willing to help (and learn). What conf files would be needed? Is the process more complicated since there is no binary package right now? -- Please include support for streamzap remote in Lirc https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136785 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
