The OSK issue is a separate issue (bug 1362679). Can you be more
descriptive about why you can't switch to swipe? What error do you get,
what do you see happen, etc.
You sound like you're on the RTM channel, so you may be hitting bug
1361137. If that's the case, please try ubuntu-rtm silo 003, which is
supposed to have a fix for this.
