I confirm this bug, auto works in Dapper but not in Edgy Knot 2. I have a laptop with xvga (1280x800). The configuration instructions say you need to choce the option for your resolution, but no option offers the 1280x800 resolution... so I really don't know what to do to have in Edgy the appropriate resolution I've got in Dapper.
