Public bug reported:
After a fresh install of the r-cran-rserve package (Version: 1.7-3-2
amd64), the symbolic link in /usr/lib/R/bin/Rserve points to an invalid
file: ‘Rserve’ -> ‘../site-library/Rserve/Rserve’.
As a consequence, it is not possible to start RServe from the "R CMD"
utility.
ACTUAL
The symbolic link is void, and the "R CMD RServe ..." returns an error
EXPECTED
The symbolic link points to a script, and the "R CMD RServe ..." allows to
start the service
WORKAROUND
It is possible to start the service by calling the RServe() function in an R
session.
