Hi Ruben, Thanks for your efforts. When I follow your instructions, on 12.04.5, I get the following when trying to start fprint_demo: fprint_demo: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.17' not found (required by /usr/local/lib/libfprint.so.0) So it seems that the libfprint from the fprint repo has not been compiled for 12.04 which carries glibc 2.15. So I'm afraid that this still isn't working on the current LTS.
