  The rt2500 (1:1.1.0-b4-4ubuntu1) configuration utility (aka
  RaConfig2500) was a perfect companion for the rt2500 legacy drivers but
  apparently doesn't work anymore with the new Ralink rt2x00 wireless
  modules as included with the Gutsy kernel.
  
  By consulting the project homepage
  (http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page) I
  learned that this utility has now been replaced by the RutilT utility,
  which is presently not available from Debian/Ubuntu.
  
  This will unfortunately leave the many Ubuntu Ralink users without the
  possibility of setting the i/f through a graphical interface (especially
  useful for novices).
