This bug causes a lot of unexpected troubles, e.g. gtk theme changes, everything looks and feel like "broken" and the only "fault" of the user is having logged out. Please raise priority, we'll do our best to provide information, but let's try fixing this for gutsy, since this has really broken gnome for ages, since the birth of ubuntu.
