Public bug reported:

Ubuntu MATE is an Ubuntu derivative that provides the MATE desktop
environment. MATE is the continuation of GNOME2.

Ubuntu MATE has been given the green light by the Ubuntu Technical Board
and Canonical IS have confirmed sufficient storage is available to host
the Ubuntu MATE images. As a prerequisite to integrating Ubuntu MATE
into the official build infrastructure some Ubuntu MATE packages
(currently hosted in a PPA) need to be uploaded to the official Ubuntu
archive.

Daniel Holbach has informed me that Ubuntu is now in feature freeze and
therefore an exception will need to be granted.

  * ubuntu-mate-artwork provides artwork and themes specific to Ubuntu MATE. It
is required to create Ubuntu MATE.
  * ubuntu-mate-settings provides configuration settings and default specific
to Ubuntu MATE. It is required to create Ubuntu MATE.
