Public bug reported:
WinSystems PPM-GX , AMD Geode GX500. In all cases I use a
straightforward install, use guided partition, whole drive.
Live 7.04 CD installs and finds all of the peripherals (6.06 did not). I
really want a headless system, but the 7.04 server install fails at
reboot with a '-' at the top of the screen and the following at the
bottom:
INT 14: CR2 C1000000 err 00000002 EIP C03f3c3e CS 0000060 flags 00010006
(plus another line of information)
I then tried the alternate 7.04 install and selected to install a
command line system. This install gets to the point of installing the
base system and fails with teh message "No installable kernel was found
in the defined APT sources".
Perhaps these should be reported as separate bugs, but since they are
variations on the same package on the same machine I felt it made sense
to report it as one bug. I have seen reports by others of similar bugs,
but I don't think they reported trying or succeeding with the live CD.
