The rationale for having them in a new tab rather than in a separate
screen is that:
1) new tab is going to be available in the future with a simple gesture
2) bookmarks are often used to start a new navigation path
It will become intuitive after using it for a while. Having bookmarks on
a separate screen is just a UI convention
