In Thinkpad R50e on Gutsy screen brightness controller tilts first to minimum after login process and when using brightness controll keys on thinkpad the controler tilts numerous times between max and min setting. On screen brightness controller is of no use and all i can do is to put the screen backlight brightness to 100% in power management taskbar, even then brightness sometimes tilts back to minimum.
