Since i have moved to the i810 driver i have found X to be much less buggy. I used to have problems with returning from suspend where the machine would just have a black screen. The backlight would be on but the screen was being painted black. I have not had the problem since i started using the i810 driver. Why not revert back to i810 by default until these problems have been solved? So far the only advanatge I have noticed to using intel was that i didn't need the 915resolution fix.
