If I made a PPA, would you use it? If no one will use it, I probably won't bother. Actually, Ubuntu pulls in packages from Debian *unstable* - and that is why it is already in Utopic. We still need to get it into Debian testing so that it will go into Jessie, though. :) I'll have to keep pestering Matt about that.
