Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome

I think this is a security risk and gnome has a great option for this. It is a
good idea to lock screen on suspend/hibernate only if people want it. Everybody
who enables screen saver locking wants to lock screen on suspend/hinbernate too.
The easiest solution for this is to enable the gconf option
/apps/gnome-power-manager/lock_use_screensaver_settings per default.
So everybody who needs no protection and don't want any password dialog are
happy and the others who need security are happy too and there is no need for
an extra option.

** Affects: meta-gnome2 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
