Public bug reported:
I installed latex-cjk, which pulled in latex-cjk-common. In
/usr/share/doc/latex-cjk-common/examples there is a file CJKutf8.tex.
Attempting to format this file I got
-----------------------
...
(/usr/share/texmf-tetex/tex/latex/base/size12.clo))
! LaTeX Error: File `type1ec.sty' not found.
-----------------------
Scrounging around in Contents-i386.gz, I discovered that this file is in
cm-super (this package should probably be in the Suggests list for
latex-cjk-common.) I installed it and tried again, now I got this:
---------------------------
...
(/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/CJK/UTF8/UTF8.chr)
LaTeX Font Warning: Font shape `C70/mj/m/n' undefined
(Font) using `C70/song/m/n' instead on input line 49.
! Undefined control sequence.
