Public bug reported: When ulatencyd is installed most manipulations to the lxc containers (including such innocent commands as lxc-info) must be preceeded with sudo cgmanager stop sudo cgmanager start
otherwise they fail with "call to cgmanager_move_pid_abs_sync(blkio) failed: invalid request" See: http://askubuntu.com/questions/446374/lxc-container-creation-fails- with-call-to-cgmanager-move-pid-abs-syncblkio-fa $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS Release: 14.04 $ apt-cache policy ulatencyd ulatencyd: Installed: (none) Candidate: 0.5.0-8 Version table: 0.5.0-8 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Removing the ulatencyd package (and rebooting) solves the problem with lxc. ** Affects: ulatencyd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1376765 Title: ulatencyd conflicts with lxc containers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ulatencyd/+bug/1376765/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
