Try to do this:
1. Turn off your internet connection — you have to deny internet access only,
but leave connection to the LAN. You may not use gnome-network-preferences. I
use my internet provider's control panel...
2. Move your ~/.gnome2/rhytmbox -> ~/.gnome2/rhytmbox.BAK
3. Start rhytmbox and turn on only one plugin — «Cover art»
4. Restart rhytmbox and wait while it adds some music (your profile is clear
now)
5. Start playback of any song with length >= 4min.
6. Listen... And if you do first step right, you must to see loading animation
in place where cover art must be (i will try to upload screenshot here).
7. At moment 3 min 9 sec (magic moment) it crushes (in my computer). Don't try
to rewind, just wait 3 minutes.
