Public bug reported:

Use the "show desktop" feature (for example with ctrl+super+d). The
windows will disappear but you will notice that the mouse changes as you
pass over the areas where window borders were, and sure enough, you can
resize windows with their invisible handles and drag them by their
invisible titlebar.

I can still drag-select desktop icons, and keyboard focus stays on the
deskop. It's just window titles and borders.
