After some more detailed cross-check, I think this is more related to the graphic card itself on 201302-12729
I swapped the graphic card between 201302-12727 and 201302-12729 (note that the card now on 201302-12727 is the not-working one) This "no display with DisplayPort issue" (with native DP monitor) could be reproduced on 201302-12727 And the card from 201302-12727 works fine on 201302-12729. Also, I was informed that the DP port works with HDMI adapter since it's downward compatible. Since even the vendor splash screen is not available with the native DP monitor, maybe it's safe to call it's a hardware issue.
