With "debconf hint" I mean a hint which is displayed at installation and says that zeitgeist/privacy has to be configured in order to make `diodon` work the know way because now the default configuration after installation does nothing (which is why I thought the package was broken). Maybe that can be acchieved by detecting the first run otherwise.

I agree that an infinite history based on XML storage isn't a good idea, but it doesn't say that all choisable storage backends have to provide the same features (including infinite history), does it? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1380631 Title: diodon doesn't save entries in history To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/diodon/+bug/1380631/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
