we need to use the libwnck upstream patch to add the new API and
"changing num_rows_value_changed() and num_workspaces_value_changed() to
detect that compiz is running (easy, check for pager->wm) and call the
new API instead of doing something else" and "changing
update_properties_for_wm() to not hide all widgets for compiz"
