Installing from a USB pendrive to another USB drive does not work. I remember doing such installations many times before, but maybe I have been using 'Something else'. I think this is another indication, that the option 'Install alongside' is buggy and risky.
Passed or failed? I think 14.10 passes, but 'Install alongside' should be removed, because it creates too much problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1382991 Title: ubiquity install alongside points to wrong device letter To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1382991/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
