Public bug reported:

Updated from Ubuntu 14.04 to 14.10 and rebooted. Using gnome-shell.

What I did:
Using Ctrl-Alt-L to enter lock screen.
I press Enter to slide the clock away. I type my password to the password field
and press Enter or click the button.

What I expected:
The lock screen disappears and I get back to the desktop.

What happened instead:
It checks the password but nothing happens.

No, I did not have a typo in my password.

** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
