The package from feisty-security should have the fix included and it
dpkg says that it tries the new init file.
What's the output of the following command on your system?
sudo start-stop-daemon --stop --oknodo --pidfile /var/run/policyd.pid --exec
/usr/sbin/postfix-policyd; echo $?
