I would like to confirm/add to this bug. Actually, Suspend on my laptop worked fine in Dapper and Edgy. In Edgy I had to install the hibernate and suspend2-userui for it to work. Resuming from hibernate never did work on my laptop. However, since Feisty, neither suspend nor hibernate works. I have just freshly installed Gutsy Tribe 5 and also the suspend2-userui and hibernate packages and I still get the same problem (even after installing package upgrades). On suspend it seems it suspends normally and without problems. However, on resume, the lights come on, the cd, fan and hard drive spin for about 3 seconds and then everything stops except the power light which remains on. Ctrl-Alt-F1/F7 do not elicit any response.
