I can confirm @shuhoa findings, my 14.04 /13.10 laptop displays the
error, but I can boot and continue after the error. It just displays the
error message, but harmless.

- Either a second cause for displaying the same error message is present (in 
all 14.04 and later distro's.)
- Or a different cause (probably with no output at all) which halts  after the 
same error message is shown.
