I have the same problem. M2NBP-VM worked with Feisty. Loaded Gutsy and
it doesn't work.
I did find the file /lib/modules/2.6.22-10-generic/ubuntu/media/snd-hda-
intel/snd-hda-intel.ko. I see using lsmod that it lists it as well.
Below is a portion of my lsmod.
I am not a very capable Ubuntu user yet, so I have not been able to fix
the problem. I hope to get help but whoever helps will have to be very
specific on the steps. My PCI hardware includes a Hauppauge PVR-150 and
a PcHDTV HD-5500 that I suspect may be part of the problem.
