Public bug reported:
On an HP pavilion dv8000 the gutsy-tribe 5 amd64 live cd hangs on boot
up. I haven't tried any special boot options. The gnome panels load and
then disappear and reappear then the screen turns to the default Human
themed desktop color. It appears similar to trying to enable desktop
effects on the same laptop with a Radeon Xpress 200M
Hardware:
DV8000
Turion64 mobile
1024 MB RAM
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M
