Public bug reported:
system is Dell xps410n running Gutsy on separate drive. Started with
Tribe 5 and all updates have been installed. Running compiz and emerald.
The problem is that the mouse pointer will randomly jump to another part
of the screen. Sometimes while moving, sometimes when stopped. I have an
mx laser mouse and it does the same thing. It also does it in Fiesty
with either mouse. Cannot reproduce at will, but seems to happen most
when something else on the screen is updating, such as a popup
messagebox or app opening.
