Well, to be able to use the startx option I actually have to edit my lts.conf, otherwise I would never have come to the point where the starting of X.org fails because there is no valid configuration. Accordingly, I am enclosing my config file.
Another point of interest, is that if I do log on manually, or using one of the shells opened by statements like: 'SCREEN_02=shell', then I can run configure-x.sh manually before running the startx script and everything works like charm. That is why I concluded that I needed a little bit of configure-x.sh in my screen_session since that is where all vt:s get initialized. All the best and keep up with the good work, R.R. ** Attachment added: "my hacked lts.conf" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9188579/lts.conf -- ltsp startx option does not work since X.org is not configured https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138089 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
