Thank you, I could reproduce this with your explanations! I'm marking this as triaged and will forward upstream.
** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-main-menu Go to: System > Preferences > Main Menu On the left column (Menus), at bottom under System: - Click and hold Administration - - Move it just a little, like if you were going to drag it somewhere, but only a few pixels and still within the left column, and then let go of it. - Even if you move it back to where it was, it still disappears from that list and from the menu bar at the top of the screen. + - Drag it somewhere without dropping it, then still without dropping it, move it to the original place and then drop it. + + It still disappears from that list and from the menu bar at the top of the screen. This may also be caused by moving it in the right column as well. Problem is fixable by the following solution: - Edit ~/.config/menus/settings.menu: - Delete the following section: <Move> <Old>Administration</Old> <New>Administration/Administration</New> </Move> Or deleting <Move>, </Move> and everything inside those tags (if it differs) Also see: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3209426 ** Changed in: alacarte (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Triaged ** Summary changed: - main menu + dragging problem -- dragging problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133668 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
