Public bug reported:
After a spontaneous reboot (bug 1387949), the unity8 dash never started.
Instead, I had a black screen with functional indicators at the top and
a functional launcher bar available from a left swipe. Not sure what
caused this, but I suspect it may have been related to one of the
changes which landed just hours earlier in silo rtm-010 (
https://trello.com/c/enrjHgsd/ ).
I have not yet been able to reproduce this failure, but haven't booted
many times to try it yet.
A potentially relevant crash dump is attached; looks like an issue with
the flickr scope. No other crash files were created at the time.
