# find /sys/kernel/debug -name i915_dp_mst_info -exec cat {} \;
Have you tried installing the linux-image-extra package for the kernel
you previously tested (3.0.16 - the one that left you without a
network)? If not, I would appreciate checking that out and letting me
know if that helps with your network problems.
