I was tested in the upstream kernel 3.18.0-031800rc3.

Result is the same phenomenon as when of linux-image-3.13.0-39-generic.

Tested computer environment is,

3.18.0-031800rc3-generic
$ sudo apt-cache policy linux-image-3.18.0-031800rc3-generic
