I had both firefox and chromium already installed before installing
lubuntu-desktop.

After installing lubuntu-desktop (which is coming along nicely by the
way), chromium was the default browser by using the icon next to the
"start" menu.

I tried changing this to firefox, and the preference shows that firefox
is saved as my default browser. However, each time I click the web-
browser launch it still launches chromium.

As a work-around, I saved a firefox launcher to my desktop, and then
tried to drag and drop it to the quick-launch bar, but apparently
dragging and dropping to the quick-launch bar isn't supported.

I like how lean lxde runs. Use to, the reason I wouldn't use LXDE was
mainly due to it not having easy setup for multiple monitors (use to, if
you did set this up, the setting would not persist to the next login --
now it does so that great).

I'll use lxde as my go to desktop as soon as I find a vertical launcher
bar that acts like Unity's on multiple monitors and workspaces. Wow lxde
is fast and lean!
