Guys, be sure to specify the EXACT version of Remmina you are still experiencing issues with....
I no longer had this problem when I reverted back to an older version (process described in my earlier comment) under Ubuntu 12.04. As well, this issue is marked as "resolved" so the developers feel the fixed the bug and presumably pushed out a new version.
