Are you able to hear yourself on your computer speakers?, please try to adjust
the required values such as "Mic Boost" and "Mic" volume level with alsamixer
or amixer from a terminal.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ amixer -c 0 sset 'Mic Boost (+20dB)',0 on
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ amixer -c 0 sset 'Mic',0 100% cap unmute
Do you have prior experience with Ubuntu, if so, do this work before.
