Wow. Well I changed the -UnityDecoration-extents value from '28px 0 0 0' to '28px 10px 10px 10px'. This is obviously too big.
On the other hand, it is _really_ nice to not have to hit that 10 micron thick region of the window that one needs to hit to get a resize handle. Even when I can navigate to the corner, in both 14.02 and 14.04, it has been difficult to get the mouse pointer to the incredibly miniscule region of the window that one needs to hit. I think it is not the right call to put this at a low priority for several reasons. First, it is easy to fix, so why not do it. I mean, do you need me to write a one-line pull-request against a repository somewhere? I would be glad to do it. Just let me know. Second, I know the effect is a bit subtle but this is the kind of thing that makes people workflow difficult without them even knowing it. All they know is that it takes a long time to resize the window and their hand hurts. And if they realize what the problem is, how easy is it to find the vocabulary to describe the problem so that you all get what is being described? And how many average users know where to file the bug? So, how do you all know how many people this is a problem for? I would suggest you may understate the number of people it bothers and the extent of the bother that it causes them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1359350 Title: window resize handle is now too far below window, windows become unresizable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-themes/+bug/1359350/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
