Added HWE today, Ubuntu would not reboot. Restored previous build, removed Virtual Box using Ubuntu Software Center Re-installed HWE. Installation successful. Re-installed Virtual Box using Ubuntu Software Center Installation failed (re-building kernel?) Removed Virtual Box using Ubuntu Software Center Installed Virtual Box using instructions at https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads All is good now.

Shouldn't the version in Software Center be removed? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1292118 Title: virtualbox-dkms 4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.6: virtualbox kernel module failed to build [error: incompatible types when returning type ‘kuid_t’ but ‘RTUID’ was expected] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1292118/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
