Public bug reported:

I have IDE HDD disk with ntfs. It is automatically mounted for user1
(admin) in /media/user1/diskname but not for user2. I added user2 to
plugdev group.

I checked options for it to mount automatically in KDE settings but is
still ask for admin password.

There was an error while trying to open this disk in Dolphin
There is error info about udisks and polkit.subject-pid: 2603
polkit.caller-pid: 1843

I found somehow releted (I assume ) topic
https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=225&t=110110

USB are mounted for user2 without problem.

I searched for solution and found
http://web.archiveorange.com/archive/v/268W5AGQ1KKnpXDiCZXl
So i did
sudo /usr/libexec/polkitd &
sudo /usr/libexec/udisks-daemon &

now I can access this disk as user2 - it mounts in /media/diskname
the problem is that when I create a folder it has root:root ownership.

Any solution to this or how to undo the commands, please? I know I
messed up.

I will be glad to provide further information, just let me know what to
check.

Kubuntu 14.04 64-bit
