Public bug reported:

Hi

I think there is a bug with the automatic punctuation feature :

What should happen : In system settings, it' indicated ubuntu keyboard
automatically add a point or a missing parenthesis /quotation mark when
you double click on space.

What happens : Ubuntu keyboard never add missing parenthesis / quotation
mark but always add a point

How to reproduce : try typing some text (SMS, mail...), open a
parenthesis, type a word, double click on space. It adds a point and not
the missing closing parenthesis.
