As mentioned on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/Nvidia , if
you use a 3rd party (non Ubuntu provided install) package to install the
drivers your support options change and you really contact the 3rd party (or
use one of the methods mentioned on
http://www.ubuntu.com/support/communitysupport ) about any problems that
subsequently arise.
The good news is that envy's author uses launchpad so I shall try and
open this against the envy product.
