Christopher -- I'll try to get to this in mid-December. I have a travel schedule over the next few weeks that makes it hard to try much. I do note that the frequency of the problem (upgraded to 14.10, with 3.16.0-24; still using proprietary nvidia drivers) has gone way down, and perhaps even gone away - I have not had this problem in a month, although I once experienced a different issue with not waking up from sleep which I will report if it happens again.
Thanks for your help. Regards -- Bhaskar On Fri, Nov 14, 2014 at 12:49 AM, Christopher M.
