There were a couple of kernel updates after the previous comment on 14.04 and then I didn't see the issue for several weeks, including initially after 14.10 upgade. Today I can frequently only get one left click before it stops working.
This is the first reboot since installing 3.16.0-25.33 and did not see the behaviour on 3.16.0-24.32 before that. I don't see any xorg/unity changes in the same time. I tried to find suspicious differences: sam@wildthing:~/dev/ubuntu-utopic (master=)$ git lg Ubuntu-3.16.0-24.32..Ubuntu-3.16.0-25.33 | grep -i -e usb -e hid -e blue -e logitech -e mouse 6528f8a ALSA: usb-audio: Add support for Steinberg UR22 USB interface Vlad Catoi (4 weeks ago) da1467e Bluetooth: Fix setting correct security level when initiating SMP Johan Hedberg (8 weeks ago) 9952638 Bluetooth: Fix issue with USB suspend in btusb driver Champion Chen (2 months ago) c84f8a9 Bluetooth: Fix incorrect LE CoC PDU length restriction based on HCI MTU Johan Hedberg (3 months ago) 0caae0f Bluetooth: Fix HCI H5 corrupted ack value Loic Poulain (3 months ago) ea7bc88 HID: rmi: check sanity of the incoming report Benjamin Tissoires (9 weeks ago) d30967e usb: pch_udc: usb gadget device support for Intel Quark X1000 Bryan O'Donoghue (3 months ago) 9eabfad UBUNTU: [Debian] install usbipd Tim Gardner (3 weeks ago) 7e9daaa usb: musb: dsps: kill OTG timer on suspend Felipe Balbi (9 weeks ago) 1992d47 USB: cp210x: add support for Seluxit USB dongle Andreas Bomholtz (8 weeks ago) 3240c5b USB: serial: cp210x: added Ketra N1 wireless interface support Joe Savage (8 weeks ago) 1ad60cb USB: Add device quirk for ASUS T100 Base Station keyboard Lu Baolu (8 weeks ago) e40bc3d uas: Add another ASM1051 usb-id to the uas blacklist Hans de Goede (8 weeks ago) ca8fe31 uas: Add missing le16_to_cpu calls to asm1051 / asm1053 usb-id check Hans de Goede (9 weeks ago) There are a couple (9952638 & 7e9daaa) that sound possible, but from the full commit message do not seem responsible. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1371853 Title: Logitech wireless mouse periodically loses correct click behaviour To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1371853/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
